Powder Flow Testers

Flow property measurements generally fall into two main categories: dynamic analysis and static analysis. Dynamic instrument measures flow properties as the test material is moving or is about to move. Static instrument measures powder that is not moving and typically has been exposed to pressure.
REVOLUTION Powder Analyzer
The REVOLUTION Powder Analyser can measure your powder’s ability to flow, consolidate, granulate, cake, pack and fluidise by measuring the power, time and variances in energy of your powder in a rotating drum. This data can be used to quantify your powder’s particle behavior during process applications such as blending, tableting, mixing and transportation.
EVOLUTION Powder Tester
EVOLUTION Powder Tester measures a powder or granular material’s response to environmental stresses. The major stress on a material is pressure. The Evolution measures a material’s response to pressure by applying pressure to the material and then measuring its resulting strength. This strength is known as the unconfined yield strength. If a powder is to flow, the force making the powder move must be greater than the unconfined yield strength
VOLUTION Powder Flow Tester
The Volution Powder Flow Tester (VFT) measures the flow properties and bulk characteristics of powders and bulk solids. The system uses an annular shear cell to measure a powder’s response to consolidating pressure using the yield locus technique. This allows the system to measure the cohesion and angle of internal friction of the material as well as its unconfined yield strength. The system also measures wall friction and compressibilty. Flow functions can be measured by testing the materials at different pressures. VFT also measures powder charge with the ION Charge Module. VFT tests samples at pressure up to 250 kPa (50 Kg of force) and automatically weighs sample for density and compressibility. You can get Volution Powder Flow Tester at more affordable price than other powder shear testers on the market.
PT-1 Travel Cell
“The PT-1 Travel Cell allows users to measure the time consolidation or caking of their bulk materials in real world situations.
Using the PT-1 Travel Cell, users can study the effects of actual shipping and storage conditions on their bulk materials, whether it is vibration from trucks or rail cars or temperature fluctuations during day and night storage and shipping.”
Headspace Gas Analyser and Leak Detector

Gasporox offers instruments for non-destructive headspace analysis and leak detection of sealed packages in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries.

Pore and Membrane Analysers

Porometers are used to characterize the pore size and the pore size distribution for media used in filtration and separation processes, such as polymeric and ceramic membranes – including flat sheet and hollow fibre membranes – , non wovens, paper, porous rocks, etc. The gas-liquid porometers measure through pores in the range of 500 μm to 15 nm, while the liquid-liquid porometers can measure through pores down to 2 nm.
Gas Liquid Porometer (Capillary Flow Porometer)
Gas Liquid Porometer, also known as Capillary Flow Porometer (CFP), measures pore size and pore size distribution of through pores in materials. The technique is based on the displacement of an inert and nontoxic wetting liquid embedded in a porous network by applying an inert pressurised gas. Therefore, only through pores are measured.
